NetPeek will display your current connectivity and let you turn on the Wi-Fi interface to get a quick peek at the various networks in view. Version 1.2 includes the stop feature. You can leave the application running by using the "back" button, or can press "Stop Peek" and have the option to also stop the Wi-Fi.
